About Blake.
Blake is a Financial Advisor with the Assante Hydrostone office based in Toronto, Ontario. He holds the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations. Blake earned his Honours Bachelor of Science (HBsc) in Financial Mathematics from Wilfrid Laurier University. He is currently enrolled in the CFP program.
Throughout his career, Blake has been a dedicated investment professional involved in financial markets including capital markets operations, product and market analysis, as well as wholesaling mutual funds, ETFs and alternative strategies at various asset management firms. Blake had the opportunity to have meaningful conversations with thousands of Financial Advisors across the country regarding business development, practice management, tax minimization strategies and alternative investment solutions. While doing this he gained valuable insight and was able to cultivate his own set of best practices on how to manage clients. Most recently he worked for Ninepoint Partners, a leading Canadian alternative asset manager. Blake was responsible for Eastern Canada (Quebec and Atlantic) managing a territory of nearly 1 Billion.
Philanthropic interests include leading the event committee for the Toronto motionball Gala and sitting on the Executive Committee for the motionball Toronto Young Professionals Network.
Blake was born in the GTA and now resides in Toronto, ON.
