Assante Capital Management Ltd. Halifax
I joined Assante Hydrostone in 2017, after starting as an Advisor at one of Canada’s largest insurance companies. My goal is to provide a professional and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable asking questions. I strive to deliver an unmatched client service experience, helping to alleviate the stress around insurance planning.
The insurance industry can be complex and confusing at times. Clients may not know which questions to ask, or in many cases are not comfortable asking. My objective is to explain insurance in a way that is easily understood and guide our clients through the process. I work with an in-house team of two Senior Financial Advisors, with over 50 years combined experience in the industry, providing a well-rounded pool of experience and knowledge in all areas of financial and insurance planning.
After graduating with Honors in Business Administration at Nova Scotia Community College, I went on to complete the Life License Qualification Program, Investment Fund Course. I’m currently enrolled in the Canadian Securities Course, and pursuing the Certified Financial Planner® designation, the highest standard designation in the financial service profession. I’m passionate about continuing education in the field and believe this will add immense value to the service I provide clients.
Whether a client has an immediate need such as a new addition to the family, or covering a mortgage, or more complex needs such as estate planning & protection, or leaving a legacy to family or your favorite charity, we will work together to build a plan that caters to their personal situation and needs. We work closely with a client’s accountant and lawyer, when required, and can incorporate our in-house estate planning specialist and wealth planning group.
Born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, I moved to Capilano Estates with my partner, Mark, four years ago along with our two dogs and two cats. When I’m not at work, I enjoy going for hikes, playing recreational league volleyball and basketball, gardening, and cooking.
