HALIFAX (June 24, 2015) – Assante Hydrostone is pleased to announce that Stephen Doane, FCSI, CIM, PFP has joined the branch as Branch Operations Manager of the Assante Capital Management Ltd. branch.  Assante Hydrostone, a collection of branches of Assante Wealth Management, administers over $1 billion in assets on behalf of residents of Atlantic Canada.

Mr. Doane, a Saint Mary’s University graduate, succeeds Richard Alderman, who joined Assante Capital Management Ltd. in 2000 and was named Branch Manager in 2003. Mr. Alderman remains part of Assante as a full-time financial planner based in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Before joining Assante, Mr. Doane was Vice-President of Sales at Front Street Capital and prior to that, he managed business development operations for Manulife Securities in Atlantic Canada.
