We’d like to take a moment to say thank-you to our clients, families, friends and team here at Assante Hydrostone.  2019 was a wonderful year and we’re excited for a new decade – hello 2020!

We had a lot to be grateful for in 2019 and we were fortunate to be able to support some wonderful causes in our community — we couldn’t have done it without the ongoing support of our clients and advisors & staff!

Feed Nova Scotia donates 2 million kilograms of food each year to food banks, meal programs, and shelters across Nova Scotia.  This also includes almost 7,000 Christmas hampers. Our donation supported the Hearts for Christmas program which offers support for families with kids with a Christmas dinner and gift cards for gifts.

The Street Connection is a mobile soup kitchen that operates in four low-income areas of HRM.  Operating on a regular schedule, volunteers on the bus distribute free food and bread to an average of three hundred men, women, and children each week.

Hope Cottage is a local charitable organization that has been providing meals to people with food insecurities for over 50 years.  Largely run by volunteers, they are able to comfortably seat 90 people at a time for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Brigadoon Village offers a variety of camps for children living with health conditions and other life challenges. Camp See-Ya (blind & visually impaired), Camp Brainiac (neurosurgery conditions), and Camp Kedooopse (bereavement) are just a few of the camp programs offered – giving extortionary kids a chance to be ordinary.

Motionball is a not-for-profit organization that builds awareness and raises funds for the Special Olympics Canada Foundation.

Beyond the support we have given as a branch to these worthy causes, on an individual basis our advisors and staff support a number of other fantastic organizations including sports and music sponsorships, theatre, youth programs, and more. We extremely proud of our team and their efforts to give back.
